“Happy Love Day!”

It’s Valentine’s day! Do you have any plans for today/tonight? In need of a last-minute going out/date outfit? I’ve got you covered. Something easy and not the usual cliché (cherry red!) that will make you arrive in style without looking like a Valentine’s day enthusiast!

Instead of wearing a red dress, I opted for darker colors: an oversized black blazer with a little peek of my bralette showing and a silver metallic pleated skirt with black pumps. If skirts don’t tickle your fancy, you can also do a leather pant or even denim and still look effortless! For my flirty details, I added touches of pinks and blushes throughout. Not too much, but just enough to compliment the darks and for contrast. Accessory tip: statement earrings can easily add glam and polish such a simple look. I wanted a fresh-faced look so I kept my makeup soft and finished it off with a cute little topknot!
