One of my friends had laser hair removal done a few years ago and ever since then, I knew that it was only a matter of time before I made an appointment to get my pits zapped. Days before my first session, I started reading more information about it to mentally prepare myself. But what I really wanted to know: Is it painful? I was a nervous wreck during my appointment, but I was told that the newer lasers don’t hurt as bad. To my surprise, it didn’t at all! The machine they used blew cold air as it touched my skin, making the zaps bearable. The whole treatment lasted about 30 seconds or so from start to finish. I couldn’t believe how quick and easy it was. I was pretty much freaking out for nothing! Haha!
After a couple of days later, my hair grew back. I didn’t expect it to work right away, so this didn’t surprise me at all. About a week or so, I hardly had any underarm air. I didn’t shave for days and I was so elated by this. 4 weeks later and I still haven’t seen any hair grow back. AMAZING. I couldn’t believe it! Now I can see why people say laser hair removal is magical!
I have another session coming up in a couple of weeks and I can’t wait until my treatments are finished. My goal is to have silky smooth underarms, free of visible hair follicles. I highly recommend getting this quick and easy treatment. I’ve become more confident about showing off my underarms since then!
